The Supreme Court on Friday quashed all criminal proceedings against Samay Raina and four fellow comedians in connection with insensitive remarks made on the show India's Got Latent. The bench appreciated the comedians' constructive efforts, including raising ₹12.5 crore for disability welfare and organising a chess tournament for specially-abled individuals. The court will continue hearings to frame guidelines for regulating online content concerning persons with disabilities.
